Challenging problems arising from the mathematical description of natural phenomena
Workshop: Part I

Overview

We plan workshops as intimate events, giving an opportunity to conduct research as part of intensive cooperation with leading researchers from leading centres, primarily foreign ones. We believe that such a formula for the event will maximise the achievement of IDUB’s goals, remarkably increasing the publishing potential of scientists from the University of Warsaw. The main aim of the events is to provide a comfortable environment for discussing common ideas and future projects. The first workshop is meant to be mainly focussed on the Cahn-Hillard equation and is intended as a follow-up to the conference. Such a schedule will allow us to benefit from cutting-edge discoveries learned during the conference to intensify the collaboration on the topic hoping to push forward our knowledge and to allow us to obtain interesting mathematical results.
