Overview
We plan workshops as intimate events, giving an opportunity to conduct research as part of intensive cooperation with leading researchers from leading centres, primarily foreign ones. We believe that such a formula for the event will maximise the achievement of IDUB’s goals, remarkably increasing the publishing potential of scientists from the University of Warsaw. The main aim of the events is to provide a comfortable environment for discussing common ideas and future projects. The second workshop is meant to mainly focus on the mathematical modelling of tumour growth with an emphasis on tissue growth models and non-local approaches in cancer modelling, as well as the study devoted to the theory of population models with a structure on abstract (ultimately infinite-dimensional) metric spaces, which has also application related to cancer diseases.
